Renert School

At Renert School in Calgary, Intermind Design brings a residential understanding of comfort and belonging into an educational setting. The continuing collaboration responds to a progressive vision of a school that also serves as a community.

Third Space and resimercial principles shape environments for connection, informal exchange and learning beyond the classroom. The building accommodates studios for art, theatre, dance, martial arts, music and yoga, supporting different ways to explore and participate.

The design considers how people experience and use their surroundings, making the building an active part of learning. Renert extends Intermind’s belief that thoughtfully planned spaces can support both individual needs and a shared sense of place.
