For a blended family with strong ties to Olympic fencing, this 1980s penthouse needed to become a lasting home tailored to their lives. Its restrictive layout and uncomfortable summer temperatures called for a thoughtful transformation.
Intermind Design created a generous kitchen, a personal primary suite and dedicated workspaces, using precisely fitted built-ins and carefully selected finishes to bring order and architectural definition. A custom fireplace and a welcoming dining area give gathering a natural place within the plan.
The kitchen combines high-performance appliances with accessible storage, a wine fridge and integrated recycling and compost pull-outs. New air conditioning and solar-control window film improve comfort. The result is a penthouse where practical needs and personal character receive equal attention.
